USB Flash Drives

USB flash drives may be used to save files when working on the public workstations.

If you do not have a USB flash drive, you may borrow one from the circulation desk.

Pantheon Scratch Space

Scratch space is available from all library workstations except the Bloomberg machine. Scratch space allows for temporary storage of files. To use the scratch space, launch the shortcut from the start menu and enter your NetID and password. Once you have logged in, create your own directory for storing your files.

To retrieve your files from scratch space, connect to Pantheon from your personal computer.

Important notes about scratch space:

  • The scratch space is purged regularly. Be sure to move your files to a permanent location as soon as possible.
  • The scratch space is insecure. Anyone that logs into the scratch space may access your files.
