Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System
A comprehensive Internet site for explaining the purposes and functions of the Board of Governors. Disseminates data previously published only in hard copy.

Bureau of Economic Analysis
Allows ready access to economic data and publications. Contains both historical and NIPA tables, state and regional data, and US international trade data released on a regular basis by BEA.

Bureau of Labor Statistics
Offers labor economics and statistical data including characteristics of the labor force (employment, unemployment, employee benefits, earnings, productivity, etc.).

EconData.net
This site links to more than 550 sources of US regional, state, and local socioeconomic data.

Economagic: Economic Time Series Page
Presents a comprehensive collection of economic time series data gathered from US and foreign governmental agencies, trade associations, and private companies.

Economic Growth Resources

FINWeb
A one-stop financial economics site that provides links to major finance and economics journals, working paper series, and databases.

FRED (Federal Reserve Economic Data)
FRED is a database from the Federal Reserve. It contains over 3,000 time series, all of which can be downloaded in the Excel file format.

FRASER (Federal Reserve Archival System for Economic Research)
FRASER, a database from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, provides historical economic data. Full-text versions of statistical publications such as Banking and Monetary Statistics and Economic Indicators are available. Historical productivity and costs numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics are also available via FRASER.

McMaster University Archive for the History of Economic Thought
Compiles a large array of documents necessary for studying the history of economic thought.
