Network Access for Laptops in SSLIS Libraries
Ethernet access
Ethernet circuits for laptops are available on the first and second floors of the Social Science Library.
To plug your laptop into an Ethernet circuit, you need:
Wireless access
Wireless access is available on all floors of the Social Science Library, in the Government Documents and Information Center, and on the first, second, and third floors of the Mudd Library.
To access the wireless network, you need:
- A wireless network card in your laptop computer
- To configure the card with the proper network name (sometimes called SSID):

- To register the card’s Ethernet hardware address for 'DHCP Roaming'. See the
