Statistics Library
The Statistics Library, created in 1965 through a gift from International Business Machines, was located at 24 Hillhouse Avenue in the building
occupied by the Statistics Department. Because the department's growth required the space occupied by the library collection to be repurposed, the library's collections have been relocated. Recently published monographs and journals, formerly shelved in the Statistics Library, are now in the Social Science Library at 140 Prospect St. As of May 2008, older materials are shelved in the stacks of the Government Documents Information Center in the Mudd Library. Records for all titles with corresponding location information are in ORBIS, Yale's online catalog.
Current Index to Statistics provides bibliographic access to
articles in the major statistics journals to Yale faculty, students and staff.
