Development Studies: International Development Policy Speakers Series at Yale
International Development Policy Speakers Series at Yale
The International Development Policy Speaker Series,
sponsored by the International Affairs Council of the Macmillan Center, is
intended to provide a setting that brings students and faculty together in a forum that links the research of
Yale University with development policy and development practitioners. The Series
follows the Yale tradition of training and research using the Yale Stimson Seminar
model of interaction through discussion and analysis of contemporary issues (http://www.yale.edu/ycias/stimson/).
Discussions explore existing and potential links between academics, development
policy makers, and practitioners in the field. A range of development organizations
are represented including research NGO’s, grassroots organizations, government institutions, and international organizations.
