“I then crossed into Austria and met with some friends. I transferred to Dachau after liberation where I saw the corpses still stacked there. I donated my pictures of this to the Holocaust Musuem in Washington. I was then detailed to the war crimes tribunal in Dachau. Eighty-two people were accused and many hanged. Some were SS and some were doctors who had committed crimes through experimentation. I had to interview one man whose name was also Weiss. He had to explain to me how he had become commander.
