             Wake the Dream Committee

Echoing the words of Martin Luther King's I Have A Dream speech the Wake the Deam committee plans programs and events which  foster a work climate where all library personnel and library users feel welcomed, valued and respected.

Its three overarching objectives are:

To promote an understanding and appreciation of the diversity of experience
that each of us as co-workers brings to this work environment.
To continue to connect staff with and reflect back the multicultural
richness of our own library collections.
To encourage library staff to relate to the greater New Haven Community.
