Preservation – Yale University Library
Preserving the Yale University Library collection for the future is the responsibility
of all Library staff. This work is a highly collaborative effort between Preservation
Department staff and Library staff-at-large. To support and encourage this collaboration,
the Preservation Department is committed to providing the training and education
that all Library staff needs to take full advantage of expertise and services
offered by the Preservation Department. In addition, the Department helps Library
staff to recognize the preservation aspects of their own work and incorporate
preservation-sound practices into their day-to-day activities.
