| Committee members
are appointed by the Yale University Librarian for a term of two
years. The committee acts in an advisory capacity to the Library Staff
Training & Organizational Development Officer.
Mission:
To develop a work environment that supports workplace learning and improves
individual and organizational performance. To foster and oversee staff
training and organizational development programs and activities throughout
the library for all library staff and student employees.
Activities include:

the
identification, recommendation and prioritization of staff training
and organizational development needs within the library. |

the
design and delivery of basic learning courses, as required. |
 |
the evaluation of staff training and development
programs with
regard to quality and relevance. |
 |
the development of training support materials.
