how the work of each participant plays a part in achieving the mission
of the Library.
·
To create a more
flexible and agile organization.
Training
Objectives:
· YUL
Cross-Training Week will provide participants with on-the-job experiences
on an enrichment level.
Specifically:
· The participant will increase his or her knowledge and
understanding of the functions performed by various departments through
specific hands-on activities designed by the sponsoring department.
· The
participant will be able to perform basic tasks of a workflow process,
as determined by the sponsoring department. This would be 2-4 tasks that
are part of the regular work and that can be taught in 2-3 hours and practiced
for the same amount of time.
· The
program will promote two-way communication. Each participant will provide
feedback on the learning experience and share any suggestions for improvement.
