Information > Classes

The Library welcomes visits by undergraduate and graduate classes from Yale as well as other institutions. Members of the staff and the Librarian would be delighted to talk to students about the collection and to work with faculty to develop and arrange special sessions presenting materials on particular topics or in particular formats. Classes provide students with an opportunity for a hands-on introduction to eighteenth-century primary source materials. We are also happy to arrange transportation for classes between New Haven and Farmington.

With the completion of the renovation, the Library is now able to accommodate classes of up to 24 students in a new classroom. The classroom is equipped with a wireless internet connection and data projector.

For further information or to schedule a class visit, contact the Librarian, Margaret K. Powell, at margaret.powell@yale.edu or Head of Public Services, Susan Walker, at susan.walker@yale.edu.
