one last plea

The American Red Cross provides blood components for all critical care
hospitals in the state of Connecticut.  The Red Cross relies entirely on
volunteer donors to meet all the needs of patients in the state.  Last year
over 163,000 donations were necessary to meet patient's needs.  If you go
to www.bloodct.org you can learn more about how blood products are being
used to save lives in Connecticut.

Library donors are urgently needed to help meet the daily need.  Please
call Diane Kaplan at 432-1069 for an appointment if you are 17 years of age
or older, weigh at least 110 pounds and are generally in good health.
Connecticut is depending on all of us to meet our goals on February 8 and 9.
