CDC Minutes-Update

For several months now, as the Collection Development Council's public web
site has been undergoing a complete re-vamp and update (with substantial
work by our consultant Sarah Prown), we have not been directing yulib-l
readers to the minutes of the CDC, which meets biweekly throughout the
school year and monthly in the summer. The minutes are all present on the
new web site, and you may find them all the way through September 28th,
2000, at:

The revised site essentially makes all CDC documents public, with some
exceptions (such as drafts in progress), which are password protected for
CDC member access only.  We see this as a significant change, one that
will better serve all library staff.  We still have a few things to fix on
the site. And we would welcome readers' suggestions about ways that it may
be even more useful:  let us know about documents that you believe need to
be found here and corrections that we need to make.  Please direct these
