What happened at 9:32AM in SML/CCL
At 9:32AM the main network router that services SML/CCL (called Envy)
rebooted. DNO is looking into why this happened.
As a result, all network access went down and Orbis connections were
broken. Since OrbEdit connections were not correctly logged out but
terminated unexpectedly, you were unable to access Orbis again for
approximately 20-30 minutes. (The dreaded 'All your LU's are in use situation.)
This is a rare occurrence. However, if you are unable to access Orbis, you
can do some simple testing to see if it is really an Orbis problem or a
network problem...
-Can you access any Internet Sites?
-Can you access Email?
-Can you connect to any LSO Systems resources (the Shelflist, Cat Plus or
LC Desktop)?
If the answer to the above is all 'No' then we are experiencing a network
problem. Expert users should report it to the WSG Help Desk, but chances
are we are suffering the same problems and are in contact with DNO already.
If it is an Orbis problem, expert users should also report it to the WSG
