New Assistant Catalog Management Librarian

We are very pleased to introduce Xinkai Kong, the newest
member of the Catalog Management Team, to the Yale Library community.
Xinkai started work this week as the team's Assistant Catalog Management
Librarian. He comes to us from Hampton University, in Virginia, where he
was appointed Cataloger Librarian in 1998 and Head of the Cataloging
Department in 2000. He received his MLIS degree from the University of
Southern Mississippi, in Hattiesburg, where he also pursued graduate
studies in philosophy. He has a BS degree in mechanical engineering from
the Luoyang Institute of Technology in China.
