Teaching Innovation Fair
For some as-yet unknown reason the message I sent last night about the
Teaching Innovation Fair on Tuesday, April 2 did not include the
following introduction I had added to it. I am sending it again for
your information, from a different address. Danuta
*****
I'm pleased to forward the announcement below from our colleague, Bill
Rando, Director of the Office of Teaching Fellows and Development
Preparation. The Library will be present at the fair [1:30 -2:30 p.m.] to
discuss the ELI [Electronic Library Initiatives] project plans utilizing
the Luna Imaging, Inc Insight software as a tool for teaching and
studying
using digital images. Barbara Rockenbach, Fred Martz and I will be
demonstrating the tool's potential. We will also discuss the project's
plans for continued building of access to digital image collections and
assessment of faculty use of this technology.
As in past years, this fair promises to be of keen interest to those
engaged in teaching on campus.
