SCOPA Forum TODAY Beacom
Please join us for a SCOPA forum today:
Today October 23, 2-3 pm, SML LH
Matthew Beacom, YUL Catalog Librarian for Networked
Information
If you are tired of hearing that the catalog is dead and that
libraries are history, then come hear Matthew Beacom talk about the
conceptual model called FRBR--Functional Requirements for Bibliographic
Records. Matthew will talk about what FRBR is, what we can do with it to
benefit users of catalogs, libraries, and other information management
tools, and why it matters to our users and to us.
For SCOPA,
