SCOPA Future Librarians Mentorship Program
To All Yale University Staff:
SCOPA is pleased to announce the development of its Future Librarians
Mentorship Program, a new initiative designed to both support the
professional development and growth of Yale Library Staff and to help build
library and information professions for the future. A new component of
SCOPA's Mentorship Program, this initiative will connect Yale Library staff
and students who are interested in pursuing or are currently enrolled in
graduate studies toward a Masters of Library Science with professional
librarians working in Yale Libraries. These informal, confidential mentor
relationships will provide those pursuing careers in library and
information science with a good source of information about library school
classes, professional development opportunities, job prospects, and related
issues. If you would be interested in having a mentor or in acting as a
mentor to a future librarian, please contact Carla Heister.
