--- ITS Need to Know
Some email accounts on campus have received an email message from "The
Post Office <postmaster@yale.edu>" containing an attachment which is
likely infected. These messages are a hoax and were not sent from the
University Postmaster.
Central email account holders are strongly encouraged to use the Virus
Quarantine service in the account tool at: https://config.mail.yale.edu/
This quarantine service prevents such messages from reaching a person's
inbox.
For additional information about email and viruses, please see:
http://www.yale.edu/email/virus/
Please let me know if you have questions or concerns.
