problems with Ovid PsycINFO

Over the last few days there have been reports of missing SFX links in the 
Ovid PsycINFO database.  Ovid has reported to us that they are currently 
experiencing problems with a number of corrupt/incomplete article records, 
and the absence of the Yale SFX Link.  While some of the problems seem to 
be resolved, Ovid could not confirm for me this morning that they had 
actually found the root problem and fixed it, nor will they until there is 
a reload of the Ovid PsycINFO database.  They do not yet have a date for 
this.

If you get reports of a problem with incomplete records or missing SFX 
links in Ovid PsycINFO please report this to me and Daniel Dollar.  We will 
continue to follow up with Ovid.  Patrons may be pointed to alternative 
access to Ebscohost's PsycINFO, which is available to us through iCONN, 
http://www.iconn.org/colleges_onsite.html .  Ebscohost's PsycINFO is not 
experiencing the same problem.
