Encyclopaedia of Islam redux

Karen Reardon has pointed out to me that the Encyclopaedia of Islam uses a 
font set that isn't standard on our Windows machines, so our public 
workstations (including the ones in the EC) won't support searching 
yet.  Members of the Yale community searching from home -- and downloading 
the fonts -- should have no problems.  If you're going to forward the 
announcement to faculty and staff, you'll want to add this caveat -- and it 
will be added to the database information page, too.

Also, to access the database, click on Log In on the first (title) screen.
