The Foundation Directory Online: Platinum

I'm pleased to announce that through the cooperation of many of the library's selectors and the university's Office of Development -- and through Kim Parker's unrelentling determination -- the Foundation Directory Online: Platinum is now available to the Yale community.

The Foundation Directory Online Platinum is the Foundation Center's most comprehensive online service, comprising two searchable databases. The foundation database, available in print as The Foundation Directory, houses a collection of data on the entire universe of over 76,000 foundations, corporate giving programs, and grant making public charities in the U.S. The grants database, available in print as Foundation Grants Index, is a collection of more than 350,000 grants that have been awarded by foundations in the United States. Both databases are searchable and are designed to give researchers access to information on each foundation's funding interests and giving history.
Information on grants to individuals is limited, but the Center suggests alternate sources for this information here .

Connect through the Directory’s information page or directly here .
