RLG May 2 post-migration update

RLG members and customers: A May 2 correction of
yesterday's May 1 update was just posted to
  http://www.rlg.org/en/page.php?Page_ID=400

What has changed:

--RLG Union Catalog: All the "non-serials" records
added and updated to the old catalog between
November 18, 2004 and the end of February 2005 are
not yet in the new, migrated database. A newly
discovered set of records from February is now
being applied.

Revised estimates indicate that all the November -
February records, including those for continuing
resources (serials), will be in place and ready
for any kind of use by May 23 rather than May 9.

--RLIN21 client users: Please accept our sincere
apologies for having indicated too early that you
could begin updating your pre-March non-serials
records. Such updating is being turned off as of
9:30 p.m. May 2 (Pacific Daylight Time, UTC-7),
since any pre-March record updated now run some
risk of being overlaid by a version that was
entered or updated in February.

We are sorry for this reversal and further delay.
