Marsha Garman joins Acquisitions

Greetings to all,
 
I am very happy to announce that Marsha Garman – formerly of ILTS – has
joined Sterling Acquisitions as the Acquisitions Operations Management
Librarian.  In this new role, Marsha has project management
responsibilities for and assists in the development, implementation,
testing, and support for workflows, procedures, documentation, and
training for the ILS (Voyager), LARS, and other acquisitions
functions.   Marsha will be working in close collaboration with
Integrated Library Technology Services and with the school and
departmental libraries and curatorial units with acquisitions functions
throughout the Yale University Library. 
 
With this appointment, we plan to accelerate the implementation of
various advanced features of the Voyager Acquisitions Module, features
that will increase our efficiency and effectiveness in all acquisitions
functions.  Marsha and I will be coordinating these efforts with
colleagues in all libraries.
