Volunteers Needed - LiSA

The Library Staff Association (LiSA) is currently looking for new committee members (3 M&P and 3 C&T) to serve a 2 year term beginning on July 1.

Over the course of the year, LiSA is responsible for organizing many social events and fundraisers. During the past year, we organized:

• Field Day
• 2 New Staff Receptions
• Holiday Party
• Holiday Raffle (to benefit Columbus House)
• Canned Food Drive (to benefit the Connecticut Food Bank)
• Tsunami Relief Fundraiser
• Nooks and Crannies Tours
• Book Drive (to benefit Columbus House)
• Weight Watchers At Work
• Staff Art Exhibit
• 2 Blood Drives
• Library Participation in the New Haven Cares Voucher Program

The committee meets approximately every other week for an hour. Since there is a time commitment involved, please remember to check with your supervisor before volunteering.
