At today's commencement, Manuscripts and Archives honored two graduating seniors.

Sandra Chwialkowska of Branford Collge won a $500.00 prize for an outstanding essay on Yale for her feature length documentary, "It's About College." This summer Sandra will be preparing her film for entry into the Toronto International Film Festival.

The second award of $500.00 was for an outstanding essay based on research done in Manuscripts and Archives. This went to Robert Tice Lalka of Saybrook College for his essay, "Surviving the Death of God: Existentialism, God, and Man at Post-WWII Yale."

We congratulate both of these graduates and wish them well in their future endeavors.
