Yale Connect is ITS’ new email service that runs on the Microsoft Exchange email infrastructure. See "What is Yale Connect" for details.
All Library staff were converted to Exchange before June 1, 2008 for email.Note: You are encouraged to experiment with the calendaring features in Outlook. However, all meetings should originate in Meeting Maker until we are moved off the Meeting Maker system on August 8. At that time, your calendar data will be moved from your Meeting Maker account to your Exchange/Outlook account.
Calendar Conversion Timeline:
Meeting Maker Conversion
Friday, August 8:
3:00 p.m. Meeting Maker scheduling ceases.
(You will be able to access local calendars on your computer, but you will not be able to schedule new meet
ings.)
7:00 p.m. YaleConnect email becomes unavailable.
(No email or smartphone access to the YaleConnect system. You may work offline. Email sent to YaleConnect u
sers during this period will be queued for delivery when the system is returned to service.)
Saturday, August 9:
11:00 a.m. YaleConnect email returned to service.
(YaleConnect service is restored and YaleConnect becomes the University calendar of record.)
