This screen and the following interpretation apply to the NOTIS screens: Subject Index, Title Index, Author Index.

When an index screen includes an index entry that begins, "*Search Under:" or "*Search Also Under:", NOTIS executes a redirection of the search when that index entry number is selected. The CrossPlex script should operate as follows:

• Hotlink the index entry number as with other ordinary index entries.
• When the link is activated, pass the number to NOTIS. In the example above, NOTIS will then perform the search "s=HENLEY ROYAL REGATTA HENLEY ON THAMES ENGLAND". NOTIS will respond with the usual search results (Subject Guide, Subject Index, or single Brief View record, depending on the number of hits retrieved).
