*Note: Brief and long views of the MHLD screens are very similar. The only difference is completeness of the bibliographic portion of the display.
1. SIMPLE TYPE: When there is 1 copy holdings statement, issue the HOL 1 command and append the location, call number, and holdings information from the Holdings Detail screen to the bibliographic information from the Brief or Long View screens. For example:

2. EMPTY MHLD: A few records in Orbis have empty MHLD records. Empty MHLD
records display the text "ITEM:" next to the status line in the Holdings
Detail screen, for example:

3. LIBRARY HAS: When the detailed holdings display includes the phrase "CURRENT ISSUES:", the Holdings Detail screen label "LIBRARY HAS" should be changed to "BACK ISSUES:"
4. COMPLEX TYPE: When there is more than 1 copy holdings statement, display the bibliographic information from the Brief or Long View display; append a table containing the location and call number, but not the status, for each copy listed. If the initial Brief or Long View display contains the phrase "+ Page 1 of X", and and X is greater than 1, page forward to capture entire record.
Embed the "Hol #" command as a check box next to each line in the location/call number table to link each location to the detailed holdings information in a new (separate) display screen for detailed holdings. Include a check box at the top of the location/call number table with the option to display all holdings (issue the 'Hol' command to display holdings for all copies listed).
