More thoughts on "Expert User" model?

This seemed like a stimulating topic at our last meeting. Not sure if there's much more to say about it until/unless we get Joan's feedback.

Web Presence of Department

Department's Web presence in light of recent changes to our mission, vision, and goals. Frame the issue, see if anyone has specific comments or concerns, and then get back to Joan and ask if she'd be willing to engage our group or the full department on this at some later date.

Membership of Task Force

Since Rebecca is no longer able to make our meetings (though she will continue to be included in email postings), should we consider inviting 1 or 2 new members onto the task force? Any recommendations?

Name Change for Department?

Some good points have been raised over the past week about new names proposed for the department. I'm not sure everyone in this group has had a chance to see all of them, but I can at least try to summarize the ones that have been brought to my attention.
