IATUL 2002 Conference (International Association of Technological
University Libraries) being held in Kansas City from June 2 thru 6.
(Speakers include)Karen Hunter, Ken Frazier, Heather Joseph and Fred
Friend.  The conference is being sponsored by IATUL and hosted by the
Linda Hall Library of Science, Engineering & Technology and the University
of Missouri-Kansas City.

In addition to the obvious opportunity for discussions with the principle
players in the debate, there are other program sessions of note and a
social program including a spectacular new medical research institute, at
least two evenings of jazz, a rodeo, a private showing of the treasures of
