I couldn't find anything in the FT veritfing the Italian story, and the
Times of London is pay articles only I believe. If some on can verify From
the Times? (Sunday Times according to the Italian source.

Sparc quoting Information Today in October noted Candover and Cinven were
interested in Springer.
