Boston, Massachusetts and Oxford, United Kingdom, March 6,
2006-Blackwell Publishing, the world's largest society publisher,
announced the acquisition of the Journal of Esthetic and
Restorative Dentistry, the official journal of nine

prominent list of titles in dentistry that includes the Journal

world's leading dentistry journals and books over the last
several years. The addition of these journals demonstrates the
continued strengthening of Blackwell's portfolio in dentistry
publishing," said Gordon Tibbitts, President, Blackwell
Publishing Inc.

strategy to focus on core activities within its book publishing
portfolio," said Brian Decker, President, BC Decker Publishers.
"As the number of implant procedures increases so does the need
for the latest scientific progress in this area of dentistry,"
said Dr. William Becker, editor, Clinical Implant Dentistry and
Related Research. "The journal continues to play a critical role
in dentistry by informing its readers of the latest clinical,
practical, and scientific developments affecting the field of
implant dentistry," said Dr. Lars Sennerby, co-editor, Clinical
Implant Dentistry and Related Research. The editors are committed
to rapid reviews and publication of timely articles without
extensive time intervals between article submission and
publication.

timely and relevant articles related to osseointegration. Each
quarterly issue includes sections on basic and clinical research,

Restorative Dentistry. "I look forward to meeting the growing
