INFORMS Scholarly Journals Move to HighWire Press

Hanover, MD, August 16, 2006 - Publications of the Institute for 
Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS(r)), 
whose scholarly journals enlighten a range of major topics taught 
at business and engineering schools, will soon be available 
online to institutional subscribers through a new host, HighWire 
Press, the association announced today.

All 12 INFORMS journals and online content, as well as ordering 
information, can be viewed at www.informs.org and 
http://www.informs.org/index.php?c=57&kat=PUBLICATIONS. Early 
next year, INFORMS plans to introduce a new archival product that 
will make available back issues of INFORMS journals, some of them 
dating back to 1952.

"INFORMS made the decision to work with HighWire Press because of 
HighWire's growing mastery in hosting scholarly journals," said 
Mark Doherty, Executive Director of INFORMS.
