1. Emerald Group Publishing will give away a limited edition 
preview CD-Rom of the forthcoming Special Issue of Management 
Decision, 'Alleviating Poverty Through Trade,' at the Academy of 
Management Conference in Philadelphia, August 3-8.

Visitors to the Emerald booth (#206) will also be able to 
download articles from the Emerald Management Xtra database on to 
their memory stick.

2.  Emerald announces 2 new acquisitions:

International Journal of Accounting and Information Management 
from Waverley Professional Services

Journal of Systems and Information Technology from Edith Cowan 
University.

3. Emerald acquired 4 new journals from Troubador Publishing in 
June:

4. Emerald Group Publishing launched 4 new titles in May:

5. In April Emerald announced the acquisition of 3 new journals 
to complement its existing international business titles:

Competitiveness Review: An International Business Journal
International Journal of Commerce and Management.
Emerald also acquired Journal of Global Competitiveness which 
will be merged into Competitiveness Review to combine the 
strengths of the two titles.
