Turpion journals now online at IOP Publishing

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to announce that from October 2007 onwards, IOP 
Publishing is hosting the online versions of all six Turpion 
journals. The list of titles is given below. Thus, you are able 
to access world-class Russian research via IOP's award-winning 
Electronic Journals service. The new platform makes access to the 
content easier than ever to use.

Subscribing institutions also have complete access to the entire 
Turpion Journal Archive, dating back to the first English 
translation volumes. This will allow end-users to browse and 
rediscover cutting-edge Russian physics, mathematics and 
chemistry research from the past 50 years.

In the meantime all Turpion content is dual hosted on IOP EJs and 
Turpion website, and online access is authorized via IP 
filtering. A library need not register again on IOP site. In 
January 2008 Turpion will redirect links to full-text articles 
from Turpion web pages to IOP site, so the end-users who still 
keep the Turpion URLs will enjoy full functionality of electronic 
journals provided by the IOP platform.

Each Turpion journal has its own dedicated web page, providing:

  - full-text access to current issues
  - a broad scope of coverage
  - a list of current editorial board members
  - an e-TOC notification service
  - important information for authors

In addition, you will soon be able to access all the Turpion 
journals through IOP's exciting new interactive platform, 
IOPscience. More details to follow.
