ACP Journal Club Merges in Print and Online with Annals of 
Internal Medicine

The American College of Physicians (ACP), publisher of Annals of 
Internal Medicine and ACP Journal Club has reinforced its 
commitment to high quality content by merging the two 
publications effective with the May 20, 2008 issue. ACP Journal 
Club will appear in Annals of Internal Medicine the second issue 
of each month in the print and online editions of Annals. The 
first issue of the month contains the popular feature, In the 
Clinic. This merger allows ACP Journal Club to be published 12 
times a year instead of only 6 times a year.The result is more 
content, published more frequently. Annals of Internal Medicine 
and ACP Journal Club together in print and online is a win-win 
situation for physicians who rely on both sources but want to 
benefit from one journal that makes it even easier to routinely 
access and update knowledge.

In merging the two publications ACP Journal Club becomes part of 
the HighWire content through Annals. It should also be noted that 
ACP Journal Club will continue to be indexed as ACP Journal Club 
through the National Library of Medicine. Content from ACP 
Journal Club available through Ovid and other aggregators will 
continue to be available as ACP Journal Club.

Renewal Information

If you have existing subscriptions to both Annals of Internal 
Medicine and ACP Journal Club, you must specify Annals of 
Internal medicine with ACP Journal Club for renewal.  You will 
receive both Annals issues each month with ACP Journal Club in 
the second issue.

If you have an existing subscription to Annals of Internal 
Medicine but not to ACP Journal Club, you have the option of 
specifying Annals without ACP Journal Club for renewal.  You will 
then receive both Annals issues each month without ACP Journal 
Club in the second issue.  Please consider the benefits of 
upgrading to the enhanced version before renewing.

New Subscription Information

New subscriptions are only available to Annals of Internal Medicine with 
ACP Journal Club.  We are not offering new subscriptions to Annals without
ACP Journal Club.
