Re: Clickwrap License Case (fwd)--not the first one!
Hello,
Just to let you know that this is NOT the first case to hold click-wraps
enforceable. The Sixth Federal Circuit held two years ago (July 22, 1996)
in CompuServe v. Patterson that a click-wrap was enforceable.

Hotmail Corporation v. Van Money Pie Inc., et al., C98-20064 (N.D. Cal.,
April 20, 1998). The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of
California has agreed that defendants were bound by Terms of Service
posted on a Web site as a result of their act of clicking on a button "I
