BULK IMPORT For more information on how to set up Bulk Import for bulk loading records into ProdOrbis, see page 53 of Endeavor's Technical manual. Endeavor's Bulk Import program allows a file of bibliographic or authority records to be loaded at one time. The program is also capable of creating mfhds and items based on the Bulk Import rules set up for the specific load in the Systems Administration module. Bulk Import is also used to load an interleaved file of bibs and mfhds which was created by Endeavor's Prebulk program based on a configuration file written specifically for the load. When Bulk Importing an interleaved file of records, the bulk import rules should be set up to load bibs/auths only as the mfhds already exist in the interleaved file.
