Information that categorizes the individual according to major cultural themes.

Cultural classifications will provide primary access points for researchers, who will want access to specific and generic values in the various classifications.

 

TERMINOLOGY:

Controlled hierarchical vocabulary is recommended.

Ex:       Roy Cohn, whose homosexuality was completely at odds with his public persona as "inquisitor" during the McCarthy era
