Directions to Yale University and Parking: (If you indicated you need a $4 parking pass on your registration form, these directions will get you to the Pierson-Sage Garage where this pass is valid. If you did NOT indicate that you needed a parking pass, please follow this link for New Haven Street parking.

• From Interstate 95 NORTH or SOUTH (Boston or New York)

  From either direction connect to I-91 North, Hartford-Springfield exit, in New Haven. Continue for a short distance to Exit 3, Trumbull Street. Follow directions below for I-91.

  From Interstate 91 Hartford and NORTH

  From I-91, take Exit 3, Trumbull Street. Stay in the middle lane and continue straight on Trumbull Street to the second traffic light. Turn right on to Whitney Avenue and continue to the second light, which is the entrance to Lot 16 and Pierson-Sage Garage. Turn left into the lots and then right to follow the signs into the garage.

  Wilbur Cross/Merritt Parkways

  From north: Take Exit 61. Drive south on Whitney Avenue for approximately five miles. At the first light AFTER the light at the intersection of Edwards Street and Whitney Avenue, turn right into Yale’s Lot 16 and follow the signs to Pierson-Sage Garage.

  From south: Take Exit 57. Drive east on Route 34 (Derby Avenue) for approximately five miles (past the Yale Athletic fields). Take a left on Route 10 North, Ella T. Grasso Boulevard. Proceed to fifth traffic light, and turn right onto Whalley Avenue. Continue straight for 1.3 miles. Whalley becomes Broadway eastbound. Continue on Broadway (it them becomes Elm Street on campus) four blocks to Church Street. Make a left onto Church Street. At the intersection of Grove, Church Street becomes Whitney Avenue. Continue on Whitney Avenue through the intersection with Trumbull Street, past Sachem Street, and to the next light. Turn left into the lots and then right to follow the signs into the garage.

• To Davies Auditorium from Pierson-Sage Garage:
  To get to Becton Center after parking, come out of the parking lot and turn right on Whitney Avenue. At the next light, turn right onto Sachem Street. Turn left on Hillhouse Avenue and walk down Hillhouse on the right-hand side of the street for one block. Turn right onto Trumbull St. and walk down one block. Turn left onto Prospect Avenue. Proceed for one block on Prospect. Davies Auditorium (34 Hillhouse Avenue) is on the left. It sits behind Becton Hall (the Engineering building) and below the plaza. We'll have signs directing you along the way.
• To Davies Auditorium from Holiday Inn:
  Walk up Whalley Ave. toward the Yale campus. Turn left onto College Street. Walk three blocks up College to Grove Street. At Grove Street, College becomes Prospect Avenue. Cross Grove Street following Prospect Avenue. Davies Auditorium is behind Becton Hall (the Engineering Building), which is ahead on your right. The Auditorium sits below the plaza. Signs will be posted directing you to the Auditorium.
